Switchshift
Switchshift has been involved in the breaks scene since 2000 with his first track 'freQ uent' used in the film 'First Light', a film about surfing and surf culture around the world. Within a short space of time Switchshift was signed up to Freakaboom Records. The first track 'Electric Drop' was released in August 2001 and, with the help of the 2 Sinners remix on the flip side, was soon getting plenty of playlisting worldwide. With initial support from B.L.I.M, Rennie Pilgrem and Stanton Warriors, to name a few, there then followed, excellent magazine reviews and numerous DJ chart listings. With many remixes for artists ’Sheethanger’, ‘Ambrozia’, ‘Invincible’, and a DJ set for Annie Nightingale’s Radio 1 show.
