Divine Wave
Naarm / Melbourne based Melodic Techno / Tech - House / IDM Producer.
Dark / Dirty / Organic / Gritty sounds
Born out of a long life of playing guitar based music, a chance encounter with the right friends and a few festivals made this character quickly fall in love with the electronic music world.
Dipping his toe in with more eccentric entries like Jon Hopkins, Max Cooper and Stephan Bodzin, and then becoming a fan of more straight up and down Melodic Techno / Tech-House tracks, Divine Wave started fiddling around with synthesiser based music in late 2019, culminating in the release of a debut EP in 2020, several singles across 2020 & 2021, and a catalogue slowly filling out with weird and wonderful mid-tempo techno & house tracks that come out of left field, some with a hint of IDM/Glitchy weirdness, others more designed to get down and boogie.
2022 saw the release of Divine Wave's first full length album, the sprawling concept record 'Adrift' featuring soundscapes & IDM influenced techno that tells the story of an astronaut lost deep in space, an alien artefact their only chance at returning home.
with more label releases across 2023-2026 Divine Wave is building a large catalogue of unreleased material and bootleg remixes that feature heavily in DJ & live sets.
