From hustling in the dusty streets of Yeoville to make ends meet, to the glitz and glamour of the
South African music scene, La Choco, is about to take the music industry by storm. After being
guided and moulded by the Kalawa Jazmee stable, into the great artist that he is, La Choco has
grown into his own and has received his wings to fly solo.
As they say, “with great power, comes great responsibility”, going out on his own has meant great
changes for his career. Leading his career to not only work harder and be more focused but also
requiring him to take his music and persona in a different direction. La Choco has come out with a
new more mature sound which will showcase his versatility and ability to change and grow.
Looking to show the world all that he is capable of, La Choco has lined up a few exciting projects,
that promise nothing but the best. Rising from previous his success of the hit song “Shumaya” and
his group “DBN NYTS” peers, the young man is hard at work building his brand and making a new
name for himself in an ever-evolving industry. Taking his time to produce quality music for is
plethora of fans, La Choco will initially be releasing singles as oppose to jumping straight into an
album, giving him the opportunity to focus whole heartedly on his offerings.
