Youyon is a yoga therapist, meditation guide, and sound therapy producer and artist.
From her twenties, she guided others through diverse yoga styles — Vinyasa, Hata, Bikram, Aerial, and Paddleboard Yoga and so on. She founded the Korea Paddleboard Yoga Association, was featured in Yoga Journal Korea and Oxygen Magazine, and led corporate wellness programs. Yet the more she taught, the more her own body and mind wore thin. She began the practice of slowing down — learning what true yoga and meditation meant, not for others, but for herself.
Over the following decade, she built a career in service platform strategy and brand marketing, while continuing to cultivate meditation, mindfulness, and a life balanced through yoga.
Along the way, she came to realize that sound is an inseparable element of that balance — and began developing her own approach to sound therapy. Her first compositions emerged from the deep resonance of singing bowls layered with sounds of nature, and she has since expanded into the warm, organic tones of the handpan. Youyon’s sound therapy is a healing soundscape designed for yoga practice, meditation, and deep restoration.
Through the constant shifts of life, she shares warm sound with the world — so that others, too, may find their way back to balance.
