Klean is the project of DJ and producer Ewerthon Carvalho, from a small town in Bahia, Brazil, where he began his musical journey at the age of 15. The project first emerged from the SoundCloud underground scene, where he gained recognition for his creative blend of Brazilian funk and different styles of electronic music.
Over the years, Klean has deepened his sonic exploration and increasingly focused his work on electronic music, developing a sound shaped by the energy of dancefloors and club culture. While maintaining the Brazilian funk roots that marked the beginning of his career, he has never been confined by them, allowing his sound to evolve toward the global club and festival circuit.
Throughout his career, Klean has gained recognition both in Brazil and internationally. Highlights include an official remix for DJ Snake, who later invited him to join him on stage at Rock in Rio, as well as his remix of “Rude Boy” being featured during Rihanna’s iconic Super Bowl performance: a milestone moment for Brazilian producers and for Brazilian funk on a global stage.
His productions have received support from leading names in electronic music, including Skrillex, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Diplo, David Guetta, Tchami, Tropkillaz, Hamdi, and DJ Craze.
