Red Rack'Em

Danny Berman aka Red Rack’em is described by Juno Records as ‘one of the most respected figures in UK underground house circles’. As a producer, he has crafted classics such as ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’, ‘In Love Again’ & ‘How I Program’ which were hammered by everyone from DJ Harvey to Moodymann, Four Tet to The Blessed Madonna and even Elton John. Recent releases ‘Secret Banger’ and ‘Italo Disco Banger’ continue the acclaimed banger series, with Gerd Janson commenting on the latter ‘Sounds Like A Hit!!’ As a DJ he has RANGE, comfortably playing blazing disco boogie at Pickle Factory in London, deep house at TV Lounge in Detroit or raw swingy techno at Greissesmühle in Berlin. 2025 saw him headline Sydney Opera House and play Berghain’s garden before Ben Klock. He has toured the world extensively, playing in the USA, Australia, India and Asia at choice clubs like Tag in Chengdu, Mad Racket in Sydney and Smart Bar in Chicago. He’s also been a much loved broadcaster for NTS, Rinse FM, WWFM & SWU FM with guest spots on BBC Radio 1 for Pete Tong, Gilles Peterson, Blessed Madonna & Mistajam, and BBC 6 Music for Nemone. After 8 years in Berlin, Danny returned to the UK just before the pandemic.
