Da Sound
I was born Ralf Rust in Hamburg in 1979 and got my first record player at the age of 16.
From 1999 to 2003 I played hardtrance/trance as a DJ under the name DA SOUND in the clubs of Northern Germany.
In 2009 I started to produce music.
The following year, I founded the psy act Ragnum together with a friend. We then toured the clubs and OA for years.
About five years later it was over and everyone went their own way.
During 2019, there were two more small projects in the proggy psy area before I started with EDM in 2024.
This time again under my old DJ name
DA SOUND.
I owe the switch to EDM to my good friend O'Neal.
Through the many impressions of my previous experiences, my style combines several genres and gives me a lot of freedom to express my feelings.
If I had to describe my sound, I would say it's a mixture of EDM, Hard-Trance and Proggy.
