QUEST
David Leclerc, also known as Quest, is a Canadian producer, composer, and creative director based between Ottawa and Gatineau. As the founder of Dreamland Studios and the visionary behind SND*TRK, his work lives at the intersection of music, storytelling, and community.
Rooted in boom-bap but shaped by global influences, Quest blends cinematic textures with hip-hop, reggae, and world sounds—creating music that feels both grounded and expansive. His approach is deeply collaborative, driven by a desire to bridge cultures, languages, and creative scenes.
Through SND*TRK, Quest builds more than projects—he curates a living archive of the Ottawa-Gatineau creative pulse. His work extends beyond the studio into film, live events, and cultural programming, consistently pushing the idea that music is not just sound, but a vehicle for connection.
As a member of the group Che_nous, he continues to explore the fusion of francophone and anglophone identities, crafting records that reflect both personal journeys and collective realities.
