Beatmad
Beatmad is the project of Samuel Cal, a producer and DJ from Santiago de Compostela. Conservatory-trained in piano, cello, violin and bagpipe, he has amassed over 4 million streams and released on Revealed Recordings and on labels affiliated with UMG and Warner. His breakout track "Today Is What I Live For" folded Galician bagpipe into a club record and drew support from Hardwell, MAKJ and Ummet Ozcan.
His current work blends electronic music with urban and Galician influences, built to compete anywhere and made to sound like nowhere else. Shaped by a classical background and a decade in dance music, he moves between club records and regional identity without treating either as a costume.
