Mailo Music
Mailo Music is a South African DJ, producer, and storyteller whose sound bridges soulful Afro House and dancefloor energy. Known for his emotional productions and powerful rhythms, Mailo blends deep African percussion, lush melodies, and heartfelt vocals to create music that speaks to love, faith, and personal growth.
After winning SABC1’s “1s and 2s: Master of Spin” in 2018, Mailo’s journey took him from Cape Town to Johannesburg, where he honed his craft and collaborated with some of the best in the game — including Heavy K, Dj Tira, Toshi Tikolo, Zain Sa, Boohle, and Mpumi.
His upcoming album, Massimo II, continues the legacy of his debut Massimo, telling his story of struggle, resilience, and elevation through two worlds — the Black (Afro House) and White (EDM) sides.
