ILHAAM Project
Unclassifiable, ILHAAM (INSPIRATION in Arabic) is above all the meeting between Omri, Israeli instrumentalist and Nina, Franco-Lebanese singer and dancer in 2008, at the heart of a gathering for peace between Israel and Palestine.
The powerful chant of Nina evokes the memory of her elder Lisa Gerard.
She lays her limpid breath in the core of the
inspired electro that Omri peints.
A truely alchemical distillation of sounds, these two are searchers and they have found each other!
Their trip-hop-world ascends upon a
new land that is both mystical and
joyful.
Between trance and levitation,
an electromagnetic wave from which it
is not uncommon to come out shaken.
The duo continues their journey with the current production of a new album (Ceremonium), no doubt the beautiful and promising harvest of their maturity.
