Grew up in an odd cauldron of music and circumstances. Church music with my mom. Country and oldies with my dad. Hip-hop & alternative at school. Raised in the hoods of Long Beach, CA - one of the most diverse cities in the US. Listened to everything and everybody.
Didn't really start writing my own songs until later. And when they came, they came like a flood. After 10 years, multiple bands, and 200+ songs, I decided it was time to put out a solo album. Just myself and a producer - Kevin Fisher. I brought him the scratch tracks. He made the music dance. I sang them as best I could. Here it is.
